December 21st was a fun day for Jaron and I! Because we were gone on Christmas day we had to open our Christmas presents before we left because we couldn't wait until after we got home ha. So we picked Sunday because it was our day off and Monday we had Jaron's work party and left that night. So we woke up and Jaron saw his stuff under the tree and was like yeah whatever nothing to exciting he could tell so he wasn't wanting to get up. But I kept saying lets get up so we can open presents! We made it down and separated presents and started tearing in. Like I said nothing to exciting for him because we were going on vaca, that was our present... right. He got the traditional stocking stuff, and nerf gun that he must have. Then he also got some Cd's wii stuff a ton of Billabong clothes, thanks to our wonderful discounts and special ordering we could do that! And just random stuff like that. I knew mostly what was under the tree for me. Jaron got red heels he helped picked out (he said no to the hookerish ones lol), pink pants that I picked out months earlier, a salad bowl, clothes from our store, and then he surprised me with Hard Rock Cafe' shirt, pj's that my shirt says "I kissed a Vampire and I liked it" I also got a pink BB gun, and drum roll my big gift that I didn't know about was a drill and bits to go with it. Yes you heard me right and yes I did ask for this. Most people look at me so weird when I tell them this. But they are very useful things to have and I'm always needing one so I was way excited.

After opening presents I still had one more to give the main gift for Jaron. It was at his parents and I had been trying to figure out a way to get him over there with out making it obvious. My biggest plan fell through so I just gave up with the scheming and just said "So lets blind fold you and lets get your other present." His face lit up and I was like Oh no what did I do because I knew he thought I got him a 4 wheeler to replace his old one. So I had to hurry and tell him that it wasn't one just so he wouldn't get his hopes up to much more. He didn't go for the blind fold act so we finally just went to his parents and he was just sure I got him a couch to go in our room that we've been wanting. So I just played with that idea. Then Gary and Daniel are carrying up the gift and Daniel's like here's your couch... and surprise it was a 50" TV that he'd been wanting. He was almost as excited about it as he would've been a 4 wheeler. But he just kept starring at it and finally I was like are you going to take it home and take it out of the box. So he had to hold it in the back of the truck to make sure it didn't fall over while I drove. He was frozen! I haven't gotten a picture with him and it yet but it is his new love. Every second is devoted to watching some stupid show he loves on it or playing X-Box on it. What was I thinking....

Back

Well surprise we went on vacation. We decided to do this a week and a half before Christmas! Last year we were suppose to go to Mexico and things didn't work out and we didn't. Then this year we were going to go to Hawaii with the in laws but because of things going on during life and the timing of it we decided not to go. With opening the store and teaching dance still I have been extremely busy and stressed! No one ever said owning a business was easy! So Jaron has seen me unraveling and forced me into this vacation. Yes I said forced. I fought him on it for weeks until he just said we were going and booked it. You can ask my mom or my friend Sydni I was determined not to go and save money and stay home with my store. So this is why the trip was spring of the moment and not planned forever. Jaron picked the Dominican Republic for us to go to. This is why there were no Christmas cards sent out or phone calls or text on Christmas. I am sorry I do apologize! I hope everyone had a great Christmas!! Mine was defiantly a adventure! I will be updating it a ton this week all my pictures from the trip and from the Christmas presents opened before we left!

Christmas Tree

I am finally posting my Christmas Tree. I am not proud of it. This is why it has taken me a while to put up pictures of it. I bought this tree at Walmart the first Christmas I was married and didn't spend it living with family. But that year we were living in Mo's basement apartment where our front room was small and we didn't have much room for a tree and it didn't feel like Christmas because Jaron was had been gone for 2 months to New Orleans. But I had to have a tree so I bought a cheap small prelit one. Well the last two years I have been quite spoiled!! In our apartment we had our vaulted ceilings and we didn't take them for granted. Jaron always made up for being gone that first Christmas and bought me a 16 foot real Christmas tree that I absolutely loved!! They were beautiful!! Well to get back to why I haven't posted pictures of my tree this year. I am in my house that I am so happy to have but we don't have vaulted ceilings so that means I traded in 16 foot trees for Blow up Santa's and Penguins outside with ice cylce lights, and I'm stuck using my ugly fako tree this year. Sniff sniff But I don't have the time to take care of real one with being so busy with Landslide right now so we're sticking with the ugly fako. I decorated it to death because I have so many decorations from the huge tree and so you couldn't see the middle. I still had quite a few left over too. Well once Jaron is home long enough to finish putting up the lights outside I will post our outside lights too it's only half done.

Melissa's Visit

My sister, Melissa, and her family stopped by to see me on her way back home to Idaho. It was a fun visit. My niece and nephew were able to play with Roxy and Harley. Roxy loved it!! Harley well lets just say he's getting old and grumpy around children. He's not going to know what to do when we have one he will be so jealous. Gage just loved to pick him up. Where Caleb on the other hand was terrified of him and screamed. He wanted to jump on the tramp most of the time to stay away from them. Over all I had a lot of fun spending time with my nieces and nephews because the are growing up so fast and I never see them!!

Thanksgiving!!

Our Thanksgiving weekend was a little crazy than our average year. Because we had Thanksgiving at my in laws 2 years in a row we had to make up for it and do 2 this year at both my parents. So on Wednesday we had one with my mom. It was a lot of fun! We didn't have all of the traditional food sense we would be having that the next day. We did pasta tortellini salad, my fav, funeral potato's, and etc. I did make the best cheesecake I have ever made! I made everyone try it because it was also the hardest I have ever made and took me 3 hours to make, but was worth every calorie I ate! After dinner we played my favorite game CURSES! My step brother Josh and his wife Carrie were able to come up which I love talking to Carrie she always makes me laugh and there cute little dog Tux! He is a little black Chiawau that is so well mannered! Then my sister Melissa and her family came down from Idaho and I was thrilled because I haven't seen them forever and especially my new niece for a second at her baby blessing. But anyways it was so good to see them and all the kids! I couldn't believe how much Hannah had grown and Caleb. Gage is hilarious. Jaron thought he was funny to play with because he's a trouble maker.

So as for Thanksgiving Day got up watched the parade like I do every year. Jaron watched it with me for the first time ever. We did his paperwork for work while we watched it. Then we went to my Dad's for dinner. We had awesome food! My step mom, Polly had worked all day on all the traditional Thanksgiving food. Carrie, my sis, had mad our traditional homemade rolls that we always have to have. After dinner we visited while we cleaned up. The kids went and played guitar hero with uncle Jaron supervising. (I know scary thought) Gage loves guitar hero. For a 22 month old he's hilarious to watch whenever he sees guitars. After dinner I ran to Walmart with my sister to get some things before the crowds on black Friday. Then I got to go to work. Yeah! A great way to end the day! I went to work for 4 to 5 hours to get Landslide ready for the sales on Friday. We had to finish putting a shipment in and move everything around that's why it took so long for all that are wondering. But over all it was quite a day!

Cat in the Tree

So a few weeks ago I was at my dads house for dinner and the neighbors huge dog got out and went after my little sisters cat. Well her cat ran up the tree end of the story... You would think. No, Sam, my little sister, was worried her cat would get hurt and had to climb up after her. Every time she would try to grab at her the cat would climb higher or the cat would hold on to the branch for dear life. Well this went on for a good half hour or longer. Sam finally gave up and got out of the flimsy tree and 5 minutes later here comes her cat Callie by the door meowing for food. What were those fireman thinking in the 50's?

Kayne West so annoying

Kayne West is so annoying!! Like he thinks he's the coolest person in the world. Well news flash!! He's so not. He's a chubby guy that isn't. Last year he said he was bigger than Justin Timberlake... So not! Everyone knows that who ever Justin Timberlake collaborates with the song is a hit. Then come on these sunglasses are so not cool! Why would he try and make everyone believe that they are so great! Dumb! You can't see anything out of the stupid things! The only credit I give him is because yes I am a music junky and love it so I like his but HATE him! With his last release Love Lockdown he released it and it didn't go over like he thought, shocker he's not as good as he thought! So he went back in and rerecorded it so that is why it turned out to be a good song. It was a good reality check for him I think!

The Pond

This summer Jaron and I went on a walk to the pond across the street so Jaron could go fishing. What a great way to relax on Sunday afternoon! Roxy and Harley came with us. Jaron didn't get much fishing in because there isn't to many fish in the pond. But he was looking forward to it so much. He was using some of his Poppies fishing stuff and had bought new stuff so there was some disappointment there. But we ended played fetch with the dogs. Which is Roxy's favorite thing in the whole wide world. Jaron made her get brave and threw it in the water and swim after it. Harley wasn't about to go after the stick for a while and he would wait for her to get out of the water and still it from her. He finally grew up and got in the water. At this time we weren't sure if she was pregnant either because we never saw the dead officially hook and happen. Anyways so I thought she was and Jaron didn't. On the way back she was dead tired and if you know her she doesn't get tired so I knew there was something wrong and Jaron was giving her a bath and he's like feel her belly it's getting big. And we both started jumping up and down because we knew she was going to have puppies and she was already 4 weeks along.

My Puppies Have Left Me

All of my puppies have left me now. 2 weeks ago my runt, Tinkerbell, left me to a sweet old couple that call and give me updates on how her vet appointment went and training is going. Which I could never thank them enough for that because this process was much harder on me than I thought it would be. Then Daisy left Sunday, November 1, to my mother in laws which she is doing well and growing very fast! She is doing great on potting training and loving her new brother Scotty and Addison and Alyssa where her out all the time by playing with her. It is nice by being able to see her still. Then I we had Whiner and Fatso for a extra week with us. It was nice to have only 2 puppies around instead of 4. They were also the less feisty ones so they were easier to take care of. I did get quite attached to my little Fatso. She even knew her name as Fatso. She was a female version of Harley. We thought for half a second about keeping her even Jaron, but 3 dogs and training a dog right now was out of the question. I am at the store to much. But she would be the perfect to take to the store and just chill with me. But that wouldn't be fair to Harley or Roxy. So we had to give her up. We had only one call on them during the week. So Saturday Jaron went to puppy island and sat there all day with the rest of the people trying to sale there dogs until they were sold. Puppy island is a by Walmart in Lehi and there is around about to get into the shopping complex and every saturday you go there and there is someone trying to sale dogs. Fatso was sold early because who could resist her darling face! When Jaron called and told me I was working at the store and I just started crying. I knew I couldn't have her but still I wanted her. It was very very hard to let her go because she was my ideal dog. Not that I don't love my two dogs but she is a mixture of my two dogs how could she not be ideal to me. Then we sold Whiner and we had to wait for them to come get her so I had a few hours left with her and so I got to hold her and love on her and get my last few pictures of her. I loved her but she is exactly like Roxy and I already have my Roxy so I was cool to giving her to this great family that bought her. And that is the end of my puppy postings!!

First Snow of the Season

Jaron and I woke up to snow the other morning... BOO I am not a person who is love snow that much! My car is also not ready for the winter. I need to get winter tires put on because it is rear wheel drive and I have never owned a rear wheel drive car in the winter. I'm guessing I will be driving the truck a lot this winter. Which if you have ever seen me try to park that well that's a whole other story. (Like ask me how I got it stuck in my guarge and my neighbor had to come get it out one week when Jaron was gone!)

Anyways the snow was pretty when we opened our window from our bedroom and the trees across the street with the snow and the pond. I keep joking with Jaron I'm going to go ice skating on Utah Lake this winter because I know it will freeze solid ha ha. Even if it did technically it's across the street I would have to go through a lot of that weed stuff whatever its called cat tails or whatever. Because there is quite a few of those in between the lake and us and they are taller than me, which isn't very hard. But back to the snow it wasn't a ton at our house as you can tell by the picture and some had melted already. Which I was kneeling down by the snow trying to show how much there was but it really didn't work. Our dogs aren't the biggest fan of it all the time. We'll through them out in the middle of it and they'll freak and come running back it's great.

Now Opened

Landslide Clothing opened last Friday for all who didn't hear!! And if you didn't hear that it is probably because I have been very busy with the opening of it and getting it ready to open! Yeah though we did it!! Thank you to all that helped us get it there! Now we just have to make it successful. For our first week I think we have done pretty well. The traffic flow has been great! Everyone wants to know whats in our store and whats going on here. So come check it out and be one of those people and see my hard work! We are pretty kick ass!!

The Dog Man

Jaron was in charge of all 4 puppies the other night while I got their room ready for them. It remined me of a old woman with a lot of cats all over her. But we are kind of like crazy cat people right now with 6 dogs!

Roxy's puppies are freaking huge now! They are 7 weeks old and I am very ready for them to go home now! I will miss them very much but it is time! 4 pooping puppies! It's to much! My runt, my one that I fed and took extra care of, is the first to leave me which is the saddest because she is my favorite. She leaves me Saturday morning. A cute old couple bought her after there 15 year old yorkie had passed away. They named her Tinkerbell. They really have there work cut out for them. She is so feisty and play full and into everything!! Daisy leaves me Monday! I'm not sad about having her leave as much because she is going to my mother in law and will get to see her all the time and babysit her. It is making it so much easier on me knowing that I will always get to see one of the puppies forever and that is how I have been able to let go. She would have gotten the runt but Jaron wanted her to have one of the miracle babies. Which little Daisy is a miracle she was on the side walk that morning when we found them and now she was the fasted developing in everything. She is the smartest of all the puppies. She gets them all to naughty things and picks on them all. She'll have her work cut out for her when she goes to her new home with Scotty and Bozano and she's the littlest. Then our little fatso which Daisy has beat her at that and Whiner do not have homes to go to yet. We have almost sold Whiner 3 times and Fatso twice then the people just don't call back. It's very frustrating because we don't put them on KSL for a few days when that happens. Also being so busy with the shop and now the time has come for them to leave and now one is buying them. So after this weekend it will go down to at least 4 dogs instead of 6. That sounds a little bit better. They are also the calmer too so that is nicer. If anyone knows anyone that wants a yorkie send them my way!!

Landslide Clothing

So if you haven't heard Jaron and I are opening a skate shop! It's called Landslide Clothing and is located in Pleasant Grove Utah. We haven't opened quite yet, but hoping to open next week. Which is would be the 3rd week of October. I was really hoping that we could open this week but there have been delays and because of this we have moved the date back to next week and I am just hoping it is not moved back any further. We are opening the store with Jaron's older brother that experienced in this line of work as well. We are also carrying higher end clothing for women. It has been a lot of work to get it going but I love doing it. I didn't realize how much work it would be to get companies into our store. It came to a surprise to me the first week of phone calls and how much disappointment there was that not everyone was dieing to be in our store. Because come on we're freakin awesomee who wouldn't want to be there. ha Working on getting the building ready has been a lot of work! Jaron, Daniel, and I started with taking out the tile that existed and we did this by using ice picks and scraping the floor. It took two days and after quite a few blisters later we were ready get the glue off the floor. So we rented this buffer thing grinds down cement and we went across the whole floor and it worked better if I sat on it while someone pushed. Quite a few of us took turns. I'm sure it was quite a site to see. The floor looks awesome now with a acid wash and was totally worth all of the work. Then we painted which was the first major decision I picked out... well lets say it turned out to look like moab instead of red. I'm not aloud to make those type of decisions anymore. lol Now it's all just putting everything together. So now I am on the ordering process and picking out the clothes and it is a blast. I am just hoping I didn't pick out horrible styles. Today when we got our Silver Jeans in it was the most exciting! I had to try on every style we got! I will keep you all posted on when we open and you better come shopping when we open!

Princess Party

At dance s the tudio I work for we had a princess party for the girls in our class ages 3 to 7. We were seeing how many people would respond to something like this so we could have fundraisers for our competition teams. We had a excellent turn out and it was a lot of fun for the girls! I asked my friend Jori to come help, and my brother girl friend, Kim, that is in hair school and she brought a friend from school and her roommate. Which with out them I would've been screwed. My sister in law Alyssa also came to help out with nails and such. We had our older girls from competition team come help out. We had such a great turn out we did need all the help. We had a coloring station where they colored crowns, painting nail station, story station on how they became a princess, and then where they got there hair done. Well I thought I could be in the lets do hair station. I was with Jori and Kim and the other two girls that could do hair. We had 5 minutes with each girl and I have had no practice with little girls hair because the only kids hair I ever have helped with in the last few years are my sister in laws and their's are a little different than these little white girls with fine hair. So the poor girl doing hair standing next me ended up doing half of my girls too cause I would freak and wouldn't know what to do. I'm pretty sure she was annoyed. I was annoyed with myself. lol So I did a total of 2 girls hair out of 5 I attempted. My kids will be one of those ugly kids cause I won't know how to do there hair I'm afraid. I think I will stick to all chocolate babies then I won't worry. But anyways the princess party was a blast. I wore my old prom dress and Amanda the owner of the studio also dressed up so I wasn't the only old person looking crazy. The best part was when I came home Jaron got home right after me from 4 wheeling and ran outside in my dress and started yelling that I loved him and I missed him. He was so embarrassed the neighbors would see me dressed like that. I loved it so I kept running around outside and asking what his problem was really loud until he just hurry and went inside.

Pumpkin Patch

I went to the pumpkin patch with Jaron and all of his side of the family. It was a lot of fun! We went down to the Big Red Barn in good old Santaquin. A tractor pulls a wagon over the pumpkin patch and then you get to pick out pumpkin. Which the whole family took up almost the whole wagon because we all there even Grandma Jerline and Grandpa John. I think it's pretty much the coolest thing! Me and Jaron had to pick out the biggest pumpkins we could find and they were still connected to the vine. I could barely carry the freakin thing. Afterwards Jaron bought me a ton of fudge from the Big Red Barn that is to die for but there is so much it will last me for the next month or two. Then we all went out to dinner to Los Amigos in Payson. Our Waiter didn't believe Marcie and I when we told we came from Lehi and Salt Lake just to eat there. Which wasn't all true but was some what. It was great to be able to have the whole family there!
