It was Addison's Birthday yesterday. She is now 12! I can not believe this! She was 1 when I started dating Jaron! Jaron, Alexis and I went and pulled her out of school yesterday and took her to Chucky Cheese for lunch. We were the only ones there. It was a lot of fun! She just ran around and played whatever she wanted. Alexis had fun except when her dad played the basketball game. You know the one where there are a couple of balls and you shoot them over and over again as fast as you can. She would scream. I don't know why. Chucky Cheese didn't scare her. She rode on a few of the little rides. Afterwards we took Addison shopping for a rock star outfit for her Birthday party on Friday. She was so excited it was so fun to take her!! We also went to dinner at the Olive Garden with the family for the big day. She kept telling the Waiter well you know I am the Birthday Girl. She is such a funny girl! I love her to death!

Thanksgiving weekend
Thanksgiving has come and gone. We enjoyed the holiday weekend! It started with round 1 at Jaron's moms house on Thursday. Lots of yummy food with family! I couldn't move after I ate!! It was Alexis's first Thanksgiving and she was not into any of the food. Not even the normal stuff she loves at home. Jaron shoved sweet potato's in her mouth and made her so mad. After that she was like don't even come around me with food! My mother in law did a great job on the food and sent us home with so much yummy left overs which is my favorite! I sent Jaron and Daniel black Friday shopping. It was a success. You can read about the funny details at http://mylifeasarealhousewife.blogspot.com/2010/12/black-friday.html.
Round 2 started off with a stop at the craft fair in SF. Then off to my Dad's. We didn't have a Thanksgiving dinner just a normal one. They didn't want us to get turkeyed out. We usually go to the light parade but this year with it being 14 degrees and having a 8 month old we decided it wasn't a good idea. Maybe next year! They did light up the Salem pond so we drove around that and Lexi loved that! She was all about those lights!
Round 3 happened at my Mom's house. My step sister was there with her new baby! I was so excited to see my new niece! She is 7 weeks old and still so tiny! She weighs what Alexis weighed when she was born right now. It makes me feel like I have a giant baby now seeing how small she use to be to how big she is now! We ate yummy turkey and ham. My mom made homemade rolls, cinnamon rolls, and pumpkin bread that she sent home with us! I love the holidays! Alexis loves pumpkin bread!! I think that is her favorite thing she has ate so far.

For the Love of Sesame Street
I put the cutest little video of Lexi dancing to Sesame Street on my other blog at My Life as a Real Housewife. She loves Sesame Street! She was so cute when the show came on the other day and was screaming and dancing so I started it over and taped it. It wasn't quite the same reaction but you can tell her favorite parts were she sways her hips or bops up and down. She loves Murray, Elmo and Abby. We have a bowl with Abby in it and after she finished her cereal she saw Abby in it and got so excited. It was so cute! Her favorite books are the Sesame Street books too. I'm so happy she loves this show because I grew up loving it! Go Check out the video!!

Action shot
Army Crawling
She caught me taking her picture
Then she had to yell at the camera
And decided to turn and come to me instead
And Pose.
Such a happy girl!
8 1/2 months! Where is the time going?
Alexis is now 8 1/2 months old! Where has the time gone! She is no longer a baby, baby anymore! She is all over the place. The only time we get snuggle time is bedtime now. That is my favorite time of the day now when I get to rock her and take in every minute I have with her at this age. I am surprised how fast she has grown up. I say it all the time because I really am amazed by it! Alexis loves to give me hugs! I love my hugs! She is starting her army crawling all over and if she gets tired of doing that she just starts rolling. But her favorite thing to do is stand up and walk... around with help of course. She said "Mama" and "Nana" for a few days and now she doesn't then she said "Dada" and it would turn into "aBaba" but now she doesn't say that either. I'm sure it will be back soon. Jaron taught her how to do this thing with her lips where she blows and spits and she loves to do that. She starting to wave. We'll be in the store and she'll just start waving to random people, but when I try to get her to do it to grandparents she doesn't want to. She is such a screamer of joy! She loves older kids. Whenever she sees them she starts screaming. I'm sure it is because she has great cousins and aunts! I am so excited to spend the holidays with her for her first time! Hopefully she doesn't get in the tree to much!

DaDa
Alexis is now saying DaDa. This is the best video I get. Everytime I get the camera out she goes quite unless she's standing up. Her aDaDa sometimes turns into aBaBa. She hasn't said Mama for a week now. Sniff Sniff. And now for all the people that think she always wears a bow this is proof she doesn't :)

Last Week
Alexis loves going swimming in the hot tub! She kicks herself around screams and splashes like crazy!
Alexis is starting to get a little bit more hair. It is always fly away and just looks fussy and everywhere. So what do I think being the girly girl that I am, Yeah we should do her hair. Umm... It didn't work out great. I don't know how to do baby hair. Do you do baby hair? It is straight so it doesn't really do anything. So she ended up with a Mohawk. I know she's not a boy but I was out of ideas. It looks ok with a bow though.

We loved the fall weather last week! I wish we had weather like this more. Not to hot not to cold and the bugs aren't out.

Halloween
I know Halloween was over a week ago but here's what we did. I didn't take Alexis trick or treating because of the rain. We went and picked up Jaron at the airport though and out to dinner. On Sunday the actual day for Halloween we had dinner at Jaron's parents and made a haunted house. It turned out great... Not really the frosting didn't hold up the walls and it lasted a total of 3 minutes before falling apart. Then we went home and painted pumpkins. Lexi painted her own. I held the brush in her hand while she got mad at me and then I painted her feet and put them on. She was like What the crap are you doing to me?! But didn't it turn out so cute! And it was so fast and easy! We had a lot of fun! I love experiencing everything for the first time with Alexis! Bring on Thanksgiving!

Neighborhood Halloween Party
My neighborhood has a Halloween neighbors. (we have lived here 2 1/2 years and know 4 people.)
But I hate going to those types of things by myself with out Jaron so I talked my sister in laws to going with me. Lexi was super cute! I think she will have a lot more fun next year when she can play the games.
Can you believe that Alyssa is taller than me and she is only 12 years old!

Gardner Village
I went to Gardner Village with my mom and Alexis last week. I had never been during Halloween time so I wanted to see what everyone was talking about. It was decorated all cute! It was a lot of fun! Alexis wasn't really feeling photogenic that day. But she really did enjoy it because there were so many thing to look at.

(I think funner is word) But of course I wasn't going to turn down this exciting opportunity! Our first issue came out today! The magazine is called The Barrel. Go check it out and leave me comments on what you think about it!

Farm Country
Last week Jaron, Alexis, and I went to the Emporium at Thanksgiving Point. Well the little shopping trip was unsuccessful. We couldn't find what we wanted (Just everything else and everything we couldn't afford ha) So we decided to venture around the grounds and ended up at Farm Country. It was a lot of fun! Lexi was still a little to young to appreciate some of it and in need of another nap to enjoy the rest. But we still had fun. She looked at the animals like so what give me Harley and I'll be 100 times happier. Once we had been there a while she got into it a little more. But the one thing she really enjoyed was the wagon ride around the park. It is somewhere we will defiantly be going a lot more! It is cheap and close! To finish it off we got some yummy ice cream at the ice cream parlor. A boring day turned into a super fun memorable one!!

The Pumpkin Patch
Every year we go to the Pumpkin Patch with Jaron's family at the Big Red Barn in Santaquin. My small town girl comes out because I am in love with this tradition! We ride on a wagon/hay behind a tractor that takes us to the pumpkin patch where we pick the pumpkins out. I was way to overly excited for Alexis's first year at the Pumpkin patch! I made sure she had a outfit just for this occasion! (Her one Halloween outfit turned into MANY thanks to wonderful Grandma's!) Alexis had fun watching everything on the hay ride! It was great to experience this with my little girl for the first time! It was also fun to spend time with the family and Jaron's grandparents were able to come as well and play with Lexi!
Now I can't wait to carve our pumpkins!
