Car Expo

Jaron, me and some friends went to the Car Expo Center this weekend. I really like going and seeing all the cars you will never have! I always say I will own this exact car in about 10 years because that's when I could afford it. ha We are also trying to sale our car so it is fun to look at cars for when we do sale it.

I really like the Buick Enclave. I feel really old for wanting a Buick!

A Continental Bentley is my dream car! I keep saying I want this as my midlife crisis car but I doubt it sense it costs more than my house!

I am really hoping to get the Infiniti FX45 when our car sales. We'll see though!

Jaron's 26th Birthday!!!

Jaron turned 26 on Sunday! It is so crazy!! I keep telling him he's old now! I always say about people on TV "yeah he's hot for a old guy." So now I keep telling him that! This was the first time he was home for his birthday in years!! He is always working. I wish I could say we went all out and got him the coolest gift ever. But I didn't. He is picking out a watch that we are getting him but still haven't gotten. We did spend the day together which was great though!! We also had lunch/dinner at his parents house. It was such yummy food. They also got him a helicopter that he had been really wanting!! I'm so glad they got it for him!! He loves playing with it!! He is ordering parts for it even! It is a family tradition to have a cut out cake. I try to keep it up. I got a cupcake book for Christmas so I let him pick what he wanted. Well he picked one of the hardest things to do, a bowling pin. I was able to do it though and I was very proud of myself for it. It was his little bro's birthday 2 days before so we always have cake with him too! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

31 Weeks

Yep you read right I am now 31 weeks pregnant! I've been really bad at taking belly pictures the last 2 months. I didn't take any in December until Christmas and I didn't realize how much I had grown in that month!!! It was a sad shocker! I only have 2 months left but hopefully I don't grow to much more! The baby was measuring large in the 22 week check up with the ultra sound. Now I'm getting my belly measured and the Dr. told me I was 1" smaller than average... I'm like how is this possible I'm huge!! The rest of my body has caught up thanks to the Christmas treats. But so far I have had no stretch marks on my belly!! (knock on wood) The baby is so active!! Some days she moves a little and other days my stomach is a punching bag and you can see it do waves. It's so fun! I enjoy it and feel so much closer to her. I just don't appreciate her kicking my bladder and almost making me pee my pants while I'm in Walmart. lol As far as we know the baby is healthy and my surgery didn't impact her at all! The Dr. told me I need to take it more easy because my braxton hicks can get a little out of control sometimes and start to hurt as well. No nothing serious like bed rest luckily but just nothing strenuous like shoveling and ice picking the driveway. ha I am so ready to be done being pregnant but I need to keep her in just a little bit more to make sure she's healthy. I love all the pregnancy pains, and the waddling around. Jaron thinks it's so funny how I have to walk sometimes. He tells me I look uncomfortable pregnant and I'm like thanks.I also swell up like a balloon almost every night! I rarely wear coats anymore because I'm so hot!! I am feeling in crunch time to get everything done before she gets here! We have been working on the nursery some but I still have so much more to do it!! So hopefully I get it all done in time!!

Off Work

Jaron wasn't in love with my blog on his down time, so here is really what has happened on his last 4 weeks off of work! It has been wonderful!! He has worked at his office some as well. I love seeing him get all dressed up and he's gone for a few hours and then comes home again! It would be awesome if that is how it always was to have my husband home every night! But we also do love how things are with him being able to be home for a week at a time all the time. It will be nice when Alexis comcontres because he'll get so much extra time with her sense he will be gone other weeks. We have already decided that he gets the firsts 2 nights off when he gets home and then he gets to take care of the baby during the night while I get to sleep. During Jaron's time off we have been able to hang out together a ton! It has been amazing. We have hung out with family and friends a lot, seen some good movies, ate some great food, went bowling, watche Jaron's little sister at half time of the Jazz game, worked on the nursery, and I have a 24 hour back massager on hand! Jaron's real favorite thing to do this break is play is new X-Box game, Modern War Fare, for hours on end. It's real fun...

Puppies

Roxy had her puppies last week on January 4, 2010!! She had 2 girls and 2 boys. At first I didn't have much time to check them because Roxy is very protective so we thought we had 4 little girls. Well I found out even boys have little nipples the just don't turn into anything. She has never had any boys before so I was well surprised! Poor Roxy was miserable the last week she was pregnant. She is feeling all back to normal and is loving it! These 4 little puppies are so freakin cute!! They all have there little personalities so already! They are also growing so fast!! Even the little runt! Roxy is such a good mommy! I hope my mom instincts kick in like hers always do when I have my baby. There little eyes haven't opened yet! But I will keep you updated on these cute furry little creatures! We still have 2 boys and 1 girl available if anyone is interested let me know!!

Jaron's down time

Jaron's been having photo shoots with our camera. It is really funny to walk in on him doing this. It isn't funny anymore when he turns the camera on me with no make up on and being as huge as I am right now. The dogs don't mind the extra attention, though! I hope you think the pictures are as funny as I do!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! So last week we started a new year! I'm ready for it!! We have so many exciting things that are going to happen this year!! I'm going to try and make this year a much more positive year! That is my new years resolution and to loose all the baby weight! ha For New Years Even we spent it with our friends eating, playing games and just having a fun! I hope everyone has a wonderful year!

Surgery

I was lucky enough to get eye surgery again! we have been trying to hold off on having surgery on my right eye until after the baby got here. Well for a few reasons my Dr. and I decided to go ahead and get the surgery in now. #1 reason because my sight is getting worse and my nerve was becoming more damaged. It sucks how fast it happened. #2 insurance is changing next year and isn't as good, Boo and #3 my Dr. was worried about me taking care of a baby after I have surgery because I'm pretty blind right now. (which is why there are so many typos in my blogs right now.) #4 Jaron has a few weeks off so he can take care of me and play chauffeur because I am unable to drive for at least 2 weeks. But so I don't get to many complaints because so many people are like you should've waited until after the baby. But for all of those worries I stayed awake during the surgery. They gave me something to put me out for 10-15 minutes while they did all the shots which is the worse part then I was awake for the surgery. It wasn't really as bad as it sounds. I could only feel a little bit so they put a few more shots in when I woke up. I heard a lot of football talk during surgery so now I know what teams are good in the NFL this year. After surgery they watched my babies heart beat and to make sure I wasn't contracting for a hour then sent me home. Yesterday I got to wear my beautiful eye patch all day and couldn't really wear my glasses so I looked hot! Luckily I couldn't see well enough to tell! lol We aren't going to have as many complications as last time because I'm over the morning sickness. I'm also going to stay positive this time... At least that is my goal! My biggest worry was making sure Alexis would be healthy through this and I think so far she is!

Merry Late Christmas!!

Merry (late) Christmas! I hope everyone enjoyed there Christmas! We really enjoyed it at our house! Our dogs went crazy over there stockings! It was so cute! They were sticking there heads in there stocking and pulling everything out. It was almost as fun as watching excited little kids. Jaron defiantly spoiled me! I got a camera I've really been wanting and a pink laptop! I was very shocked to get my laptop! Jaron got Sirius radio and a patio fire table. We both got a bunch of smaller stuff too. Jaron let me know that I should enjoy this year because next year it changes because everything will be Alexis. i totally agree with that though! I was so excited for the gifts the grandparents got her already! We spent the day visiting all the families. I was so tired by the end of the day I passed out a little after 9. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!

December update

To update you on the month of December. I have been really busy this month working on Christmas gifts so if I never emailed back or anything that is why. Sorry! I finally started working again!! After never being unemployed sense age 13 I had a few months break with out a job. After running Landslide and teaching dance at the same time I was so burned out that it was nice to have a break. Just to let you know because we don't like to talk about it much we did decide to close Landslide in July because of the wonderful economy. But I started looking for jobs in August and was hired on to a loan company that helps people save there mortgage. Well they turned out to be a flop and after waiting to start there for a few weeks my mother in law offered me a job to work at her company. It took a few weeks for my paper work to go through and then for someone to come in. But I am a Case Manager for her adoption agency! I absolutely love my job!! I have never been soo happy with a job before!! I a basically get paid to have a friend who can complain about that?!
I am getting hugely pregnant!! It is quite weird! I look in the mirror somedays and wonder where I am because my body looks so weird! I have been enjoying the pregnancy pains... can you hear my sarcasm. I really can't and shouldn't complain because there are people that have it so much worse off than I do. So I just tell people when they ask how I'm feeling that I "Feel Pregnant" and that explains it all I think! At my last Dr. appointment I found out I have the thing where you pull your ligaments on the side from the stretching. It is uncomfortable some days. I finally made it into my 3rd trimester this week! WOO HOO! I am so excited! I'm getting close!! I also learned that pregnant people do have limitations. People always treat me like I'm handicap and I'm not. I pull the pregnant card when I don't want to do something. But I decided to shovel my driveway after the snow had gotten all slushy and icy. Well don't do it unless you are one of those hard core working out people while your pregnant and obviously I am not!! I had the worst contractions I've had yet. They were 10 minutes apart and painful. My sister the expert after just having 4 babies in the last year told me what to do to help me out. So it worked. I just know now to ask for help when Jaron is gone! I have been bad and there are no pictures of the large belly. I will do that soon!

Here are some pictures we took for our Christmas card pictures! I was 24 1/2 weeks so you can see the growing belly there.

November update

So I haven't posted for a while!! I usually am so excited to blog about my boring life and I just have got caught up in it I forgot to ever write on here! Yes, it is still boring though. First of all I want to write about Thanksgiving sense I never posted anything. I won't go off on it much but we enjoyed a great dinner at my moms house and hit the theater twice that day. I just want to shout how Thankful I am for my wonderful husband. I think it is important to say this even though Thanksgiving is long past! He makes the life I live possible. I appreciator him so much and need to say it more! I also need to say how much I appreciate my family!! They are amazing!! I've need so much extra help the last few months and they are always there for me no matter what! So thanks guys!!

Ok so next on the blogging update my cute fury kids had there Birthday in November! We did not celebrate I'm starting to treat them more like dogs every year instead of humans. Harley is now a grumpy old man 4 year old and Roxy has calmed down quite a bit in the last year and just turned 3 years old. I found out the other day Roxy is a bird killer. I was so upset with here we didn't talk for a few days. Also to announce Roxy is going to have puppies any day!! Yes, you heard me right! I wish it weren't true but it so is! She had a very strange heat in October. I thought she went through heat so we broke out the diapers on both dogs and kept them separated. Then a few weeks later she went back into it. Harley was the worst dog in the world. He would stay outside and jump at the window for 8 hours straight and make these horrible mating calls. It was a cry, wine, and growl at the same time. I've never heard that noise come out of him. I kept them separated for 2 weeks thinking I had done the job. Well a few weeks ago I was wondering why Roxy was getting fat because Harley eats more than her. Then she kept getting fatter and fatter and whiny, so we decided I think she's pregnant. And now she is just huge! So no I swear I am not running a puppy mill and I feel horrible for this poor little dog having puppies 3 times in row. I feel like a parent with teenagers and they went behind my back and got knocked up! But because I have no idea when the deed was done we don't know the exact date she will be having puppies. But I am guessing there will be 4 little ones to add to our home! If you or anyone you know would want a puppy let me know!! I will keep you updated on this prego princess!!

Also in November I was able to spend a week in Idaho with my nieces and nephews. My sister was out of town and my mom and I watched the 4 kids. It was a good way to prepare me for my little one on the way! I'm glad there is only 1 baby not 4! I'm not sure how my sister does it!

My youngest sister in law turned 11 this year!! It is so crazy!! To think she was only 1 when I started dating Jaron! She is loves Michael Jackson! We got her a poster of him so we thought... She went home and opened it and it was a picture of Kim Kardashian in barely anything!! Addison was like I don't think that's Michael Jackson, Alyssa was just disgusted, Gary was wondering who it was, While Lori was wondering why it matter who it was, and I'm sure Daniel was enjoying the picture. So we told her we would get her the right one and Daniel, my 16 year old brother in law, could keep it. I don't think I will ever live down getting her that present!!

It's Official... She's a She

We are officially having a girl!! The closer my Dr.'s appointment got the more nervous I would find out it was a boy. The only reason I was so nervous for it because she already has half her wardrobe, and I've been making stuff for her like crazy. So to switch it would've just been a pain. We went in last week at my 22 week mark. We had to switch the appointment a few times so we could make sure Jaron could make it. The Dr. went through everything to see if everything was developing right. She looks healthy! That was such a relief. Her head is in the 80%, body was in the 70%, and legs were short in the 40%. (I don't remember exact percentile.) So she defiantly is her fathers child. We both have big heads and short legs but my torso is shorter and he has a long one. She is already my dancing baby. She is very flexible in there. The whole time she had her feet touching her head and she didn't want to move for anything. The Dr. kept saying he's seen it before but not much and then he was just like wow I can't believe she's so flexible. I told Jaron it is because I'm still stretching out and I can still do my splits flat. (I don't want to loose them because I'm hoping to find another dance job for next season.) The Dr. reassured me my belly button wasn't going to explode. ha But I still wonder because it's so far out there. I'm 23 weeks today and starting to look like a Prego muffin. Almost all my food aversions have gone away and I'm ready to go back to eating all my healthy food again. Yeah! I hated veggies and fish for a long time but now I have missed them like crazy! But Jaron and I are so excited to have a healthy little girl!! I can't wait until she gets here!!

So You Think You Can Dance

I went to the So You Think You Can Dance Tour last week with my little sister Sam. It was a ton of fun to go watch! The dancers were amazing! Our seats were pretty good. Sam had a loved it too. She is obsessed with the show and is going to try out when she is 18. My favorite of the season were Ade and Brandon. I love Ade's turns and Brandon is such a powerhouse when he dances. He makes everyone look like they are not dancing full out when they are. It was a 3 hour show. They did so many awesome dances!! I loved it!

Crib

I am slowly getting Alexis's nursery done. Yes I said SLOWLY. I cleared out our guest room stuff and now I'm starting to get it all full of baby stuff. We are waiting to paint the walls until after my appointment on Monday to make sure I'm really having a girl. (I have had nightmares our first ultra sound we did was wrong because it was so early. So now I'm stressing a little bit.) I also finally finished my crib last week. Like everything I have the ideal thing of what I want to buy my baby but am finding cheaper solutions for what I want. So I found a great deal on KSL for this white crib that I painted black. I took a few short cuts that I shouldn't have and it didn't turn out quite perfect in places but by the time the bedding is in there you won't even notice it... hopefully. It came with a mattress but was pretty beat up so we are getting a new one of those to add to it. The blanket hanging over the edge is what I am doing her nursery and bedding in. I can't wait for it all to be done and put together! I have been enjoying so much making things for the baby! She is going to be spitting up on the cutest things in the world!! I have made a ton of blankets already too! The good side of not working at the moment is having the time to do all these fun projects!!
