December update

To update you on the month of December. I have been really busy this month working on Christmas gifts so if I never emailed back or anything that is why. Sorry! I finally started working again!! After never being unemployed sense age 13 I had a few months break with out a job. After running Landslide and teaching dance at the same time I was so burned out that it was nice to have a break. Just to let you know because we don't like to talk about it much we did decide to close Landslide in July because of the wonderful economy. But I started looking for jobs in August and was hired on to a loan company that helps people save there mortgage. Well they turned out to be a flop and after waiting to start there for a few weeks my mother in law offered me a job to work at her company. It took a few weeks for my paper work to go through and then for someone to come in. But I am a Case Manager for her adoption agency! I absolutely love my job!! I have never been soo happy with a job before!! I a basically get paid to have a friend who can complain about that?!
I am getting hugely pregnant!! It is quite weird! I look in the mirror somedays and wonder where I am because my body looks so weird! I have been enjoying the pregnancy pains... can you hear my sarcasm. I really can't and shouldn't complain because there are people that have it so much worse off than I do. So I just tell people when they ask how I'm feeling that I "Feel Pregnant" and that explains it all I think! At my last Dr. appointment I found out I have the thing where you pull your ligaments on the side from the stretching. It is uncomfortable some days. I finally made it into my 3rd trimester this week! WOO HOO! I am so excited! I'm getting close!! I also learned that pregnant people do have limitations. People always treat me like I'm handicap and I'm not. I pull the pregnant card when I don't want to do something. But I decided to shovel my driveway after the snow had gotten all slushy and icy. Well don't do it unless you are one of those hard core working out people while your pregnant and obviously I am not!! I had the worst contractions I've had yet. They were 10 minutes apart and painful. My sister the expert after just having 4 babies in the last year told me what to do to help me out. So it worked. I just know now to ask for help when Jaron is gone! I have been bad and there are no pictures of the large belly. I will do that soon!

Here are some pictures we took for our Christmas card pictures! I was 24 1/2 weeks so you can see the growing belly there.

November update

So I haven't posted for a while!! I usually am so excited to blog about my boring life and I just have got caught up in it I forgot to ever write on here! Yes, it is still boring though. First of all I want to write about Thanksgiving sense I never posted anything. I won't go off on it much but we enjoyed a great dinner at my moms house and hit the theater twice that day. I just want to shout how Thankful I am for my wonderful husband. I think it is important to say this even though Thanksgiving is long past! He makes the life I live possible. I appreciator him so much and need to say it more! I also need to say how much I appreciate my family!! They are amazing!! I've need so much extra help the last few months and they are always there for me no matter what! So thanks guys!!

Ok so next on the blogging update my cute fury kids had there Birthday in November! We did not celebrate I'm starting to treat them more like dogs every year instead of humans. Harley is now a grumpy old man 4 year old and Roxy has calmed down quite a bit in the last year and just turned 3 years old. I found out the other day Roxy is a bird killer. I was so upset with here we didn't talk for a few days. Also to announce Roxy is going to have puppies any day!! Yes, you heard me right! I wish it weren't true but it so is! She had a very strange heat in October. I thought she went through heat so we broke out the diapers on both dogs and kept them separated. Then a few weeks later she went back into it. Harley was the worst dog in the world. He would stay outside and jump at the window for 8 hours straight and make these horrible mating calls. It was a cry, wine, and growl at the same time. I've never heard that noise come out of him. I kept them separated for 2 weeks thinking I had done the job. Well a few weeks ago I was wondering why Roxy was getting fat because Harley eats more than her. Then she kept getting fatter and fatter and whiny, so we decided I think she's pregnant. And now she is just huge! So no I swear I am not running a puppy mill and I feel horrible for this poor little dog having puppies 3 times in row. I feel like a parent with teenagers and they went behind my back and got knocked up! But because I have no idea when the deed was done we don't know the exact date she will be having puppies. But I am guessing there will be 4 little ones to add to our home! If you or anyone you know would want a puppy let me know!! I will keep you updated on this prego princess!!

Also in November I was able to spend a week in Idaho with my nieces and nephews. My sister was out of town and my mom and I watched the 4 kids. It was a good way to prepare me for my little one on the way! I'm glad there is only 1 baby not 4! I'm not sure how my sister does it!

My youngest sister in law turned 11 this year!! It is so crazy!! To think she was only 1 when I started dating Jaron! She is loves Michael Jackson! We got her a poster of him so we thought... She went home and opened it and it was a picture of Kim Kardashian in barely anything!! Addison was like I don't think that's Michael Jackson, Alyssa was just disgusted, Gary was wondering who it was, While Lori was wondering why it matter who it was, and I'm sure Daniel was enjoying the picture. So we told her we would get her the right one and Daniel, my 16 year old brother in law, could keep it. I don't think I will ever live down getting her that present!!

It's Official... She's a She

We are officially having a girl!! The closer my Dr.'s appointment got the more nervous I would find out it was a boy. The only reason I was so nervous for it because she already has half her wardrobe, and I've been making stuff for her like crazy. So to switch it would've just been a pain. We went in last week at my 22 week mark. We had to switch the appointment a few times so we could make sure Jaron could make it. The Dr. went through everything to see if everything was developing right. She looks healthy! That was such a relief. Her head is in the 80%, body was in the 70%, and legs were short in the 40%. (I don't remember exact percentile.) So she defiantly is her fathers child. We both have big heads and short legs but my torso is shorter and he has a long one. She is already my dancing baby. She is very flexible in there. The whole time she had her feet touching her head and she didn't want to move for anything. The Dr. kept saying he's seen it before but not much and then he was just like wow I can't believe she's so flexible. I told Jaron it is because I'm still stretching out and I can still do my splits flat. (I don't want to loose them because I'm hoping to find another dance job for next season.) The Dr. reassured me my belly button wasn't going to explode. ha But I still wonder because it's so far out there. I'm 23 weeks today and starting to look like a Prego muffin. Almost all my food aversions have gone away and I'm ready to go back to eating all my healthy food again. Yeah! I hated veggies and fish for a long time but now I have missed them like crazy! But Jaron and I are so excited to have a healthy little girl!! I can't wait until she gets here!!

So You Think You Can Dance

I went to the So You Think You Can Dance Tour last week with my little sister Sam. It was a ton of fun to go watch! The dancers were amazing! Our seats were pretty good. Sam had a loved it too. She is obsessed with the show and is going to try out when she is 18. My favorite of the season were Ade and Brandon. I love Ade's turns and Brandon is such a powerhouse when he dances. He makes everyone look like they are not dancing full out when they are. It was a 3 hour show. They did so many awesome dances!! I loved it!

Crib

I am slowly getting Alexis's nursery done. Yes I said SLOWLY. I cleared out our guest room stuff and now I'm starting to get it all full of baby stuff. We are waiting to paint the walls until after my appointment on Monday to make sure I'm really having a girl. (I have had nightmares our first ultra sound we did was wrong because it was so early. So now I'm stressing a little bit.) I also finally finished my crib last week. Like everything I have the ideal thing of what I want to buy my baby but am finding cheaper solutions for what I want. So I found a great deal on KSL for this white crib that I painted black. I took a few short cuts that I shouldn't have and it didn't turn out quite perfect in places but by the time the bedding is in there you won't even notice it... hopefully. It came with a mattress but was pretty beat up so we are getting a new one of those to add to it. The blanket hanging over the edge is what I am doing her nursery and bedding in. I can't wait for it all to be done and put together! I have been enjoying so much making things for the baby! She is going to be spitting up on the cutest things in the world!! I have made a ton of blankets already too! The good side of not working at the moment is having the time to do all these fun projects!!

20 weeks

Yeah, I am finally half way there until I meet my Alexis!! In some ways it seems like I have been pregnant forever and in others it has gone by pretty fast. I hope this last half goes extremely fast! I am so excited for her to get here! My Dr. doesn't do the normal 20 week check up they wait until 21 weeks so I haven't gone in for that. We also had to move it to the next week because Jaron really wanted to be there and won't be home until then. I am very excited for the ultrasound to check and make sure everything is healthy and to make sure she is a she! My belly is still growing like crazy. My belly button is all the way a outie and I wonder if it will just explode when it can't go out anymore. Wish me luck that this last half will go fast!

Cookies

I love Halloween! There are so many things to do for this fun holiday and don't forget the dressing up part! Jaron and I make a Halloween dinner every year and dress up and also decorate Halloween cut out cookies. This year I cheated and used the premade mix for the cookies and they didn't turn out wonderful. We didn't demonstrate our best decorating skills. The cookies kind of looked and tasted like poo but we had a really fun time doing it which is what matters!!

Snow

It was the first snow fall of the season in the Valley. (Which most of you know sense you live here) I defently have mixed emotions about winter! I wish the snow wouldn't stick to the roads and I wouldn't have a problem with it. My dogs are also not excited for the snow. Roxy hates the wet ground and cold, but she loves rolling around in the dirt. (Especially after a bath!) Here are a few pictures of how beautiful it was outside my house the other day!

Cornbellys

On Monday we went to the corn maze before the snow storm hit. I love corn mazes! I am much to big of a woos to love haunted houses. We went to Cornbellys at Thanksgiving Point. I highly recommend it if you have children, if not go somewhere else. The corn maze was to easy we found the exit 4 times in 20 minutes and kept trying to get lost. Jaron rode a mechanical bull which was hilarious to watch!! We went with our friends Sydni and Jarrett. Sydni had been in the early stages of labor for a week so we were hoping this would get her to go into labor. Around 35 hours later she had her baby girl Ella!!

Carving Pumpkins

At our house we have had a case of the stomach flu last week, and yes we did get the regular flu shot. It was definitely not something I recommend inviting into your home. It was a quick 5 pound loss though I must say!! Mine hit a few hours before we went to carve pumpkins, but we still decided to go anyways because I couldn't decide if I was being pregnant sick or flu sick until I started running to the bathroom every 20 minutes to puke again. We still had a ton of fun carving pumpkins though!! Daisy was able to fit in Jaron's pumpkin, I'm not sure how much she liked it though. (she is Harley and Roxy's very large puppy but is the spitting image of Harley) We always go to Jaron's family's home to carve them. We didn't carve Alexis's because it was such a small pumpkin. Maybe next year when she is actually here to watch us do it!

18 Weeks and Growing

If you didn't notice already today is catch up on blogging day for me! I usually have nothing to blog about, but when I do I have a few things at once. But here is a wonderful exciting up date on my 18 weeks of being pregnant... Yeah! lol Well the morning sickness is all gone! I defiantly must say everyone is right this is the most enjoyable part of being pregnant! So I'm enjoying it while it lasts! My aches and pains haven't really hit yet unless I sit in a car for to long. She is moving more and more everyday! I still don't quite understand what people say about flutters in there belly but mine are more like popcorn popping in there or she's trying to tickle me. If I lay on belly I can usually tell where she is and Jaron will put his hand over her and can feel her move just barely. He loves it! My belly is growing at ginormous speeds! It's almost 1/4 of a inch a week. No joke! At first I thought I won't get to big I'm not going to be like my mom keeps telling me. I was hoping I would take after my Dad's mother and sisters instead of my moms side. No offense but they get huge and have huge babies. But the last few weeks have proven me wrong! Jaron was gone for 2 1/2 weeks and came home to a pregnant wife. He says it's so cute. Right before leaving again he told me that I was getting big and he saw it grow while he was home. I was like thank you I love you too! So the freak that I am, I get online and look at what people look like at 18 weeks. Well Jaron told me I was bigger than all the pictures we saw online. I was like Thank You... Again! Now my preparation has gone into preparing even more for the dreaded stretch marks how to prevent and how to get rid of them! For everyone that has been pregnant please tell me what you did and if it worked. Here are a few pictures of my growing belly. I must say thank goodness I'm not quite as big as the picture with my mom I was pushing her out there as much as possible because they were all teasing me. I have a few more weeks before I am there.

Park City

Both my parents have time share condo's up in Park City at the West Gate Resort. (Yes we all agree it is weird that they are divorced and both have them there. And no it was not split up in the divorce. They were both purchased afterward.) So I am going to Park City quite often anymore and I love it!! I was up there a month and a half ago during my dad's time. And this week is my mom's time to have it. So me and Jaron headed up there from the pumpkin patch and got there late Friday night and stayed until early Sunday afternoon. It is quite relaxing up there! I love going to the pool! It isn't quite as fun now that my time limit in a hot tub is around 10 minutes. (Yes I did check with my Dr. as long as I don't get over heated I'm fine. It's like saying you can't take a bath the whole 9 months.) I also love going to the gym. I didn't think I would miss my gym pass so much. Sadly I can't get a great run in anymore being 18 weeks prego with a very growing belly! It wears me out for the rest of the day so I just avoid it because yes I am lazy! I was able to go shopping at the outlets. I found some great deals for baby Alexis!

Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday Jaron and I went to the pumpkin patch with his family. It has turned into a great family tradition for the last 3 years. We went to the Big Red Barn in Santaquin and went on a tractor hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. Marshelle and I even found a little pumpkin for Alexis. We really had a blast with the family! Afterwards we went to dinner at Los Amigos, the family's favorite spot for smothered burritos. I didn't charge my camera so I used my iPhone to take most of my pictures so they didn't turn out wonderful.
