Snow

It was the first snow fall of the season in the Valley. (Which most of you know sense you live here) I defently have mixed emotions about winter! I wish the snow wouldn't stick to the roads and I wouldn't have a problem with it. My dogs are also not excited for the snow. Roxy hates the wet ground and cold, but she loves rolling around in the dirt. (Especially after a bath!) Here are a few pictures of how beautiful it was outside my house the other day!

Cornbellys

On Monday we went to the corn maze before the snow storm hit. I love corn mazes! I am much to big of a woos to love haunted houses. We went to Cornbellys at Thanksgiving Point. I highly recommend it if you have children, if not go somewhere else. The corn maze was to easy we found the exit 4 times in 20 minutes and kept trying to get lost. Jaron rode a mechanical bull which was hilarious to watch!! We went with our friends Sydni and Jarrett. Sydni had been in the early stages of labor for a week so we were hoping this would get her to go into labor. Around 35 hours later she had her baby girl Ella!!

Carving Pumpkins

At our house we have had a case of the stomach flu last week, and yes we did get the regular flu shot. It was definitely not something I recommend inviting into your home. It was a quick 5 pound loss though I must say!! Mine hit a few hours before we went to carve pumpkins, but we still decided to go anyways because I couldn't decide if I was being pregnant sick or flu sick until I started running to the bathroom every 20 minutes to puke again. We still had a ton of fun carving pumpkins though!! Daisy was able to fit in Jaron's pumpkin, I'm not sure how much she liked it though. (she is Harley and Roxy's very large puppy but is the spitting image of Harley) We always go to Jaron's family's home to carve them. We didn't carve Alexis's because it was such a small pumpkin. Maybe next year when she is actually here to watch us do it!

18 Weeks and Growing

If you didn't notice already today is catch up on blogging day for me! I usually have nothing to blog about, but when I do I have a few things at once. But here is a wonderful exciting up date on my 18 weeks of being pregnant... Yeah! lol Well the morning sickness is all gone! I defiantly must say everyone is right this is the most enjoyable part of being pregnant! So I'm enjoying it while it lasts! My aches and pains haven't really hit yet unless I sit in a car for to long. She is moving more and more everyday! I still don't quite understand what people say about flutters in there belly but mine are more like popcorn popping in there or she's trying to tickle me. If I lay on belly I can usually tell where she is and Jaron will put his hand over her and can feel her move just barely. He loves it! My belly is growing at ginormous speeds! It's almost 1/4 of a inch a week. No joke! At first I thought I won't get to big I'm not going to be like my mom keeps telling me. I was hoping I would take after my Dad's mother and sisters instead of my moms side. No offense but they get huge and have huge babies. But the last few weeks have proven me wrong! Jaron was gone for 2 1/2 weeks and came home to a pregnant wife. He says it's so cute. Right before leaving again he told me that I was getting big and he saw it grow while he was home. I was like thank you I love you too! So the freak that I am, I get online and look at what people look like at 18 weeks. Well Jaron told me I was bigger than all the pictures we saw online. I was like Thank You... Again! Now my preparation has gone into preparing even more for the dreaded stretch marks how to prevent and how to get rid of them! For everyone that has been pregnant please tell me what you did and if it worked. Here are a few pictures of my growing belly. I must say thank goodness I'm not quite as big as the picture with my mom I was pushing her out there as much as possible because they were all teasing me. I have a few more weeks before I am there.

Park City

Both my parents have time share condo's up in Park City at the West Gate Resort. (Yes we all agree it is weird that they are divorced and both have them there. And no it was not split up in the divorce. They were both purchased afterward.) So I am going to Park City quite often anymore and I love it!! I was up there a month and a half ago during my dad's time. And this week is my mom's time to have it. So me and Jaron headed up there from the pumpkin patch and got there late Friday night and stayed until early Sunday afternoon. It is quite relaxing up there! I love going to the pool! It isn't quite as fun now that my time limit in a hot tub is around 10 minutes. (Yes I did check with my Dr. as long as I don't get over heated I'm fine. It's like saying you can't take a bath the whole 9 months.) I also love going to the gym. I didn't think I would miss my gym pass so much. Sadly I can't get a great run in anymore being 18 weeks prego with a very growing belly! It wears me out for the rest of the day so I just avoid it because yes I am lazy! I was able to go shopping at the outlets. I found some great deals for baby Alexis!

Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday Jaron and I went to the pumpkin patch with his family. It has turned into a great family tradition for the last 3 years. We went to the Big Red Barn in Santaquin and went on a tractor hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. Marshelle and I even found a little pumpkin for Alexis. We really had a blast with the family! Afterwards we went to dinner at Los Amigos, the family's favorite spot for smothered burritos. I didn't charge my camera so I used my iPhone to take most of my pictures so they didn't turn out wonderful.

I'm selling my baby

I am selling my baby! Not my unborn child but my beautiful car! It is hard to see her go but it is time to upgrade in size for my baby! It is a Infinite G35 Coupe 2004. She is gorgeous with black leather, sunroof, 6 Disc changer, Bose sound system, new tires, power seats, 17" rims, 290 HP, 3.5 liter V6, power seats, power windows, cruise control, and anti lock breaks. It has 60k miles. It has a roomy back seat but I am just wanting a 4 door vehicle. If you are interested or know anyone that is please let me know to come take a look at it!

15 weeks

I meant to to post this last week on my 15 week mark but I went computer less for a few days and wasn't able to get post it. If you have Facebook I'm sure you've already seen it. My belly is growing fast it seems! I can no longer hide the baby bump in anything I wear. It is very sad but also exciting for people to realize I have a baby and it's not just my gut poking out. In all the books and websites I read about being pregnant they were all saying at the 14 week mark that you may be showing just a little now. And I'm like yeah a little... It grew 1" in 2 weeks. In this picture I am 15 weeks. Jaron says I have to take all the belly pictures in this shirt now so you can see the progress. I am pretty sure I won't be able to wear this at my 40 week mark. I am now 16 weeks and enjoying this stage so much better than the first trimester. I'm getting my energy back and only through up on occasion. I can't wait for the finish line!

Alyssa's hair

Marcie was doing Alyssa's hair when we were over at my in laws the other day. She has so much hair it took 7 hours to do! These pictures are when her hair was all out. I love this picture of Jaron and his sisters! Now when you think doing your hair is pain be happy it doesn't take you 7 hours!

Utah State Fair and 38 Special

Jaron and I went to the State Fair last week and also went to the 38 Special concert. It was fun to see the animals. We were able to pet the goats and I also learned a little bit about them as well. I thought the owner was cutting the ears off on some of the goats... well that's not really the case. There were 3 different types of breeds, also there are goats from Africa. So now you all learned what I learned. I was a little disappointed with all the Boothe's at the fair. They all had the same thing in them and they weren't anything that cool. We did get a picture of us on a pin. I use to think they were so cool when I was 5 so Jaron decided he get me one. Super cool! Then we went to the 38 Special concert. I didn't have any idea who they were when Jaron told me he wanted to go. But come to find out I did know a few of there songs. It was a very fun concert and free can't beat that!

It's a Girl!!

We cheated! Me and Jaron were at the mall yesterday and happen to wander in the Fetal Picture store. (That is where they do the gender testing for the baby.) Well we decided to find out what we were having. I'm barely long enough to tell what it is so we were skeptical it would really work. They told us if it was to early I could come back in a few weeks and try again for free or if they are wrong when my Dr. does it at 20 weeks we get my money back. So we were like what the heck. Well he tells us Sanchez is a Girl!! We didn't believe it because I really thought it was a boy! It is also harder for the place to mess up if it was a boy. So we kept asking "are you sure?" "I don't believe it!" So she is quite wiggly and moves a ton so we were able to see her in quite a few different positions and he kept showing us how it was a girl and what a boy would be like. So I pretty much believe it. I'm still a little in shock because I really didn't expect a girl. Jaron also was in quite shock too. We didn't care what it was as long as it was healthy but I need to buy stuff and couldn't until i knew what it was. We are very excited for our new little girl to come. We were able to see her tiny fingers, legs, arms, nose, and her pouty bottom lip. Also she yawned while we were looking at her. So cute! So lets hope this place wasn't wrong and we will be meeting Alexis in March!! (The bottom picture is of her yawning. We have more pictures of why she is a girl I just didn't want to post them.)
