Last Week

Alexis loves going swimming in the hot tub! She kicks herself around screams and splashes like crazy!

Alexis is starting to get a little bit more hair. It is always fly away and just looks fussy and everywhere. So what do I think being the girly girl that I am, Yeah we should do her hair. Umm... It didn't work out great. I don't know how to do baby hair. Do you do baby hair? It is straight so it doesn't really do anything. So she ended up with a Mohawk. I know she's not a boy but I was out of ideas. It looks ok with a bow though.

We loved the fall weather last week! I wish we had weather like this more. Not to hot not to cold and the bugs aren't out.

Halloween

I know Halloween was over a week ago but here's what we did. I didn't take Alexis trick or treating because of the rain. We went and picked up Jaron at the airport though and out to dinner. On Sunday the actual day for Halloween we had dinner at Jaron's parents and made a haunted house. It turned out great... Not really the frosting didn't hold up the walls and it lasted a total of 3 minutes before falling apart. Then we went home and painted pumpkins. Lexi painted her own. I held the brush in her hand while she got mad at me and then I painted her feet and put them on. She was like What the crap are you doing to me?! But didn't it turn out so cute! And it was so fast and easy! We had a lot of fun! I love experiencing everything for the first time with Alexis! Bring on Thanksgiving!

Neighborhood Halloween Party

My neighborhood has a Halloween neighbors. (we have lived here 2 1/2 years and know 4 people.) But I hate going to those types of things by myself with out Jaron so I talked my sister in laws to going with me. Lexi was super cute! I think she will have a lot more fun next year when she can play the games.
Can you believe that Alyssa is taller than me and she is only 12 years old!

I went to Gardner Village with my mom and Alexis last week. I had never been during Halloween time so I wanted to see what everyone was talking about. It was decorated all cute! It was a lot of fun! Alexis wasn't really feeling photogenic that day. But she really did enjoy it because there were so many thing to look at.

Farm Country

Last week Jaron, Alexis, and I went to the Emporium at Thanksgiving Point. Well the little shopping trip was unsuccessful. We couldn't find what we wanted (Just everything else and everything we couldn't afford ha) So we decided to venture around the grounds and ended up at Farm Country. It was a lot of fun! Lexi was still a little to young to appreciate some of it and in need of another nap to enjoy the rest. But we still had fun. She looked at the animals like so what give me Harley and I'll be 100 times happier. Once we had been there a while she got into it a little more. But the one thing she really enjoyed was the wagon ride around the park. It is somewhere we will defiantly be going a lot more! It is cheap and close! To finish it off we got some yummy ice cream at the ice cream parlor. A boring day turned into a super fun memorable one!!

The Pumpkin Patch

Every year we go to the Pumpkin Patch with Jaron's family at the Big Red Barn in Santaquin. My small town girl comes out because I am in love with this tradition! We ride on a wagon/hay behind a tractor that takes us to the pumpkin patch where we pick the pumpkins out. I was way to overly excited for Alexis's first year at the Pumpkin patch! I made sure she had a outfit just for this occasion! (Her one Halloween outfit turned into MANY thanks to wonderful Grandma's!) Alexis had fun watching everything on the hay ride! It was great to experience this with my little girl for the first time! It was also fun to spend time with the family and Jaron's grandparents were able to come as well and play with Lexi! Now I can't wait to carve our pumpkins!

Cornbellys

On Monday my cute little family went to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. Last year I went while I was pregnant and just kept thinking how I couldn't wait to bring my little girl this year! I of course felt like this was forever away! But of course time flies by way to fast and it is a year later and it was time to go! We went with some of our friends. It was good times. Jori rode the mechanical bull and did a fine job at it! And Alexis got to play with her friend Ella that is 4 1/2 months older than her. We took about a million pictures because I was just way to excited for this! So enjoy!
