Park

We took Alexis to the park that is about a half a block a way from our house. She was so thrilled about it. lol Ok so she really likes grass we found it. She loved playing in it. As for the swing and the slide she was like whatever I don't care. We had so much fun playing with her!!

We tried food for the first time. She was to into the food but loved to play with spoon!!

Later that day we and had smores over in our friends backyard. They have a gas fire pit so you don't even smell like campfire afterwards. Alexis did her monkey sit for the first time. Hopefully soon she will start sitting more.

Golfing

We took Alexis golfing for the first time a few weeks ago. She loved it! Her car seat fits in perfect in the basket of the back of the cart. She will just sit in there and enjoy the ride. Well unless it is way to hot in that case I take her out and play with her in the grass. Sometimes we go with our friends one of the couples has a baby a few months older than Alexis so of course we had to pose them in the golf cart together! The other day when we went Alexis was trying to help me drive the cart. She held onto the steering wheel the whole time. It was funny. She loves golfing with her daddy!

Alexis's Baby Blessing

We were finally able to get a date for Alexis to be blessed. With Jaron's work schedule we weren't able to do it forever! He is always leaving or coming home on Sundays. She was blessed on July 11, 2010. Thank you for all that came! It was her special princess day!! She looked like a Princess too! My mom use to design christening and blessing dresses and is a wonderful seamstress so I am so lucky! I picked a wedding dress and said I want this! Then we went and picked fabric out and she made it. It turned out gorgeous! She made booties to go with it and a outfit for after! My father in law Gary blessed her and did a wonderful job! When he held her up afterwards her head band fell right in her eyes. It was kind of funny. We had a lunch afterwards at my mother in laws for family and friends! It was great to see old friends that I hadn't seen in a while and to visit with family! It was a great Princess Day for my little Princess!!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary! Happy Anniversary! Happy Anniversary! Yep me and Jaron celebrated our 5 year Anniversary! Crazy! We didn't get to anything exciting for it though. Jaron had a work training all day and so we were going to go out that night. Well Alexis lips kept turning blue and spreading onto her cheeks she was still breathing when it would happen though. But I took her into the Dr. and of course because I took her in she stopped doing to and it didn't happen again. She was healthy and nothing was wrong. They said to just watch her very close and if it happened again to take back in again and we would get chest x-rays done again. Luckily we didn't have too. But because I am the physco mother that I am I didn't want to leave her. So Jaron made me a very yummy dinner Salmon and steamed veggies! And then spent time with our cute little family. I always said I wanted to be married 5 years go to Tahiti and get pregnant with our first there, but I also always said I wanted my first when I was 24 so I went with the 24 thing I guess. So I guess we didn't get my ideal 5 year anniversary in Tahiti but I would much rather have my little potato bug!! She's worth it!! Our 10 years together is coming up in September hopefully we can do something fun for that! I love Jaron more than the day I married him! He does so much me for me! Thank you for loving me baby!!

4th of July Weekend

We went to St. George for the 4th of July weekend with Jaron's family. It was so much fun!! I didn't want to come home!! It wasn't to hot even! My brother in law and sister in law live down there so it was really good to see them. The boy golfing a lot. We took Alexis swimming for the first time. She hated it at first! I learned if I started her in the baby pool where the water was warmer she would like it then move her to the big kid pool she would do great. Addison and Halle had so much fun playing with her in the pool and playing with Jaron. My nephew Maddox was so cute in the pool. He is autistic and fearless. We would always have to chase after him because he would be jumping into the deep end. But the funniest thing was he was in the hot tub before any of us got in and rubbing some guys chest. They were very nice people. It was so funny!

We also went and got Alexis's ear pierced! Yep I am a mean mommy! She cried for about 30 seconds and then was fine. Halle my niece also got hers done too! They got matching earrings! She was so brave. We had a audience watching us so she had to be tough and not cry, she's 8. Then everyone was watching the mean mom pierce there babies ear. Some old lady wanted me to give her a sucker and I was like um... no she hasn't even had real food yet (at that time). I love her with earrings! I got her the stainless steal kind and I think I needed to get her the 14 carat gold because they have been bugging her the last few weeks. I clean them twice a day but they have been a little irritated. So I would never regret doing it but I regret been a cheap ass and not getting the nice ones.

We went up to Cedar Canyon and had a picnic. We did a little hiking too. All of the family went half of the way but the kids had taken a really long hike earlier right after lunch so Abi was tired so they went back and we finished to the lake. At the end of the trail there was a sign that had a shoe on it with a line through it. Alyssa thought it meant we had to take our shoes for the rest of the way.

We did fireworks there. It was quite a amazing show! I love fireworks! The kids do too! The named them all too. Alexis watched a few then fell asleep.

I had so much fun dancing in the car with Addison and Halle! Jaron got very embarrassed for me! I didn't want to come home! It was such a relaxing trip! I loved spending time with the family!

I need to update this thing!

So I have not blogged for a while! Jaron had some time off work. When he is home from work I am rarely on the computer, except to work. It was so nice to have him home!! Usually on his breaks I am so ready to send him back to work at the end of his breaks but this time I was dieing! I didn't want him to ever leave!! Right before he came home for his break he worked a week and half. It was the longest week and half ever! But when it finally came it was like Christmas morning! Alexis is starting to baby talk a ton so I will call Jaron while he gone and put her on speaker. He loves it! Here are a few fun things we were able to do while on his break! We went to the drive Inn! I love them!! So fun! We also went to St George for the 4th, Alexis got blessed, golfing, boating, BBQ's with friends and family, played at Payson Lakes, Jeep Rides, and playing a lot with Alexis!!! I will write a million blogs about all of our fun! I'm sure you all can't wait now!

Dress Up

I was playing dress up with Alexis a little bit ago. I tried on her high heels. They are still huge! But I had to take a few pictures. She wouldn't look at me she just kept looking at them like what are these. It was funny. I can't wait until they fit her!

In Memory of Michael Jackson

It has now been a year (yesterday) that we got the shocking news that Michael Jackson was dead. For some people it was no big deal, others it was sad to hear, and people like me it was like hearing the worst Celebrity Icon history ever has died and what are we going to do now?! Yes I was at work and was bawling. I will not deny that he was not crazy and a very weird man. But he was so extraordinary talented! He will live on forever in my home with his music and movies. Alexis already is listening to his music all the time. We have been watching the specials on him all week. It is very sad. RIP Michael Jackson we miss you!
